What is Vatan Prem Yojana Gujarat

Vatan Prem Yojana is a collaborative outlook towards the Welfare of the public in the state of Gujarat. The Chief Minister of the state will be the governing board of the scheme. 

The members include the bureaucrats, ministers, chairperson of non resident Gujarati foundation. The scheme will also include  two influential people involved in the progressive work in rural areas of Gujarat.

The aim/objective of Vatan Prem Yojana is to work on various projects in order to achieve a holistic and sustainable development of the rural areas in Gujarat. The main focus will be given towards building effective classrooms in the Rural areas. The scheme aims at executing various projects in the domain of public welfare. 

Vatan Prem Yojana Gujarat Features 

Here are the features of Vatan Prem Yojana:

  • Under Vatan Prem Yojana, all the steps including construction, execution and maintenance will be undertaken for the welfare of the public.
  • Under Vatan Prem Yojana, many projects will be undertaken by the government along with the non-resident Gujaratis. 
  • The scheme aims at constructing smart classes, classrooms in rural areas Primary Health centres, community halls, water tanks, Anganwadi, store rooms, midday meals, crematorium CCTV camera surveillance systems, water recycling systems, sewage treatment plants and many more.
  • Provisions will also be made for the proper construction of bus stands, beautification of lakes, tubewells and solar street lights.
  • Under the scheme, 60% of the contribution will be given by the non-resident foundation and the rest 40% by the Gujarat Government. 

Vatan Prem Yojana Gujarat Eligibility 

  • The scheme Will allow the non-resident Gujaratis to be a part of the contribution segment.
  • The donors can be from any part of the country or from abroad.
  • The scheme will be for the village Level projects. Hence, for the people living in village areas of Gujarat. Information related to all other eligibility related criteria will be updated by the state government soon.

    • Since, the donors can be from any part of the country or from abroad, the related domicile documents will serve the purpose of being a part of the contributing and action taking team. 
    • The beneficiaries are required to have the residential proof of being a citizen of Gujarat.

    Vatan Prem Yojana Gujarat Application Process 

    Here are the steps to follow the application process: 

    • The first step is to visit the official portal.
    • Then the applicant should select Taluk, District and Village.
    • The next step would be selecting design and work. 
    • Applicants should then fill in Details and amount. 
    • The next step would be entering the code received in the mail in order to submit the intention of the donation. 
    • The request will go to the concerned authority for the next process. 
    • After this, the verification will be done through the email. The donor/applicant will finally receive their id to login along with a password. 
    • The response will be given within 15 days of applying.
